Meet the Photographer

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been the girl with the camera in her hand. My passion for capturing life began with the pinhole camera in the third grade, photographing figurines in the spring flowers and the sun through fall foliage. Now more than ever, as a mother of five and a minister of faith, I find beauty in the details. Whether you are recently engaged, planning your wedding, welcoming a new baby, celebrating a birthday, or wanting pictures of your family or furry friends, let Shoe House Moments capture your precious moments.

Shoe House Moments, owner and photographer

One of the things I love the most about photography is catching those moments after the big group shot or the chaos when animals and children are involved or that special moment that no one sees.  Life is lived in the grey moments – those moments between the flawless makeup  and the perfectly posed family shot. I keep my eye peeled for these kinds of moments, but I also aim to help you enjoy our sessions so that your personality comes across in your photos. During our time together, we will get to know each other, explore our environment, laugh, and find joy in each other. Do you and your family love to play charades? Let’s play a game during your session! Does your dog love to catch a Frisbee? Let’s see how high he can jump! Does your child love to sing baby shark or be tossed in the air? Let’s go!

Uncle Joey helps his ring bearer nephew find his pocket so he can pose like everyone else.

These two furry siblings weren’t so keen of being photographed together, but it made for a great memory!

The giggles during these moments simply exploded into the air!
